The Tiger at Home

About the author

Ben

The author of this weblog was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.

After college at Princeton (Slavic Lang. & Lit., 2003), he proceeded to law school at Dalhousie University.* Deciding after one year that the legal life was not for him, he took a gap year in his father’s homeland of Nepal before heading to Harvard for a master’s degree in Russian. He finished this programme in June 2007 and is now beginning his professional life, for which he will most likely remain in his mother’s country, the United States.

Where this will take him, he knows not. He is, however, sure that it will be a darned interesting journey, and he is excited at being able to share some few parts of that with you, dear readers.

Update, March 2008:  For the moment, he has returned to his hometown.  (Hence the change from “in Somerville” to “at home”.)  Where to next?  (Whither next?)  Uncertain.

With usher.

* - The title of this weblog and its predecessors came from the author’s university ties — both Princetonians and Dalhousians claim the tiger as their team mascot and name.

Cheers!
